Throughout the years we gather friends, friends with whom we do not want to lose contact, yet we do not correspond with on a regular basis. What better time of year than Christmas, to remind these friends that we are still thinking of them, and to catch them up to date on family news.
FRIENDSHIP
Christmas is a special time,
a time to check our list.
It’s time to tell our favorite friends
how very much they’re missed.
Christmas is a time to think
of things we used to do,
remembering happy times we’ve had,
in old times, and in new.
Christmas is a
time to rest,
a time to stop awhile.
It’s time to turn a worried frown
into a pleasant smile.
Christmas is a link that bonds
our friendship through the year,
a time we send out greetings of
LOVE and of GOOD CHEER.
'Though distance keeps us far apart,
our thoughts are near to you.
So have a blessed Christmas,
and a Happy New Year, too.
