Dear Praying and Supporting Friends!

Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation!"

God is so good, and we praise Him for His continued faithfulness in 2009 and we look forward to amazing things in 2010. This year is going to be a different year in many ways. I will soon be making the trip to India. It is strange to be going without Evelyn leading the way. Due to poor health she cannot make it physically this time but as always we know that her heart will be with her family in India. Our flight is scheduled for January 4 and returning on the 30th. The meetings and appointments will keep us busy travelling and ministering daily.

For those who are wondering why we are going to India. It is our opportunity to encourage the pastors and to see how the work is doing. Our prayer has been to help the pastors by purchasing them a Bible stick that has the New Testament in Telugu, this would be a tremendous asset to help them to hear the word and encourage them in their ministry. We think “the proclaimer”, would truly encourage the village pastors as well. Please pray that we can assist these servants who desire to spread the word of God.

I would like to mention this report from Christer in India: We have been thinking about the possibilities to help the pastors with bicycles but it will cost nearly $ 2000 for 21 pastors. So, we decided to help 40 poor children with a pair of new clothes for this Christmas. We bought the cloth and gave it to the tailors for stitching. That work is going on and I will send the pictures of the children with new outfits very soon when stitching finished. We thank all our supporters and sponsors for their sacrificial and valuable support for the Gospel ministry in India. Thank you.

I am planning to give an update of our meetings and activities when I am near a computer. I would like to send photos of our various events. If you would like to receive this letter please write and indicate to me soon. Some have already asked to be on the list.

We covet your prayer for strength, wisdom and for the workers who diligently send forth the word of God. By God’s grace we continue to press on to win souls for the kingdom in this large harvest field of over a billion souls. We need your help, in prayer and financial support. Together we can win the lost.
