I thought for a moment
God was unkind,
He teaches us lessons,
but unfortunately sometimes,
He teaches through pain
and sometimes it seems,
God isn’t as kind as we
sometimes deemed.
But then as I thought, so
clear was my mind,
He teaches not to treat
others unkind,
Those who have had
misfortune and pain,
We would not to them be
cruel again.
Instead with compassion
we kindly speak
Of them most unfortunate
most kindly treat,
For God has commanded us
to love one another,
Not only friends but our
sisters and brothers.
So think of our God as
mighty and merciful
For those who seek His
counsel, He gives guidance so
beautiful.
He’s compassionate and
kind and gives peace to our
minds,
He is God, so Awesome,
Almighty and Faithful.
