Paraclete is another word for Holy Spirit. The title means that people in touch with the Spirit of God reach out to others--thus the Befrienders part.

Inspired by the spirit,
they assist those in need.
Feeding the lost and broken,
sowers plant holy seed.

Comrades to the lonely,
Samaritans that care.
Contributing their time,
servants sharing prayer.

Devout in their faith,
friends of the poor.
Assisting those in crisis,
angels help them endure.

Guided by God’s word,
beacons of the light.
Aiding the broken,
champions of what’s right.

Paraclete befrienders
enrich lives each day.
Gathering the lost,
shepherds of the way.
