Touch Me Lord

Today I'm looking for you
I cannot see your face
Searching every crevasse
In our time, and space

The day I gave you my heart
You said you'd never leave
Please touch me, I need balance
Your sustaining love can weave

My souls desire is to feel you
Like a thousand times before
I'm knocking, can you hear me?
Please open up your door

Touch me Lord, I'm your child
Give me peace this day
Take my hand, and walk me
O'er this mountain, on which I lay

Cast my troubles to the wind
Give to me , the comforter
Touch me Lord, I'm waiting
For only then, I'll need, no more.

Give me Shelter

Give me shelter from the cold
Take care of me, when I am old
In my youth, direct my ways
Lord, please give me blessed days

Take my hand, and lead the way
Give to me love, throughout the day
Heal me when I'm not so well
Lord please give me, blessed health

Keep me up, when I am down
Please don't let me, hit the ground
Be my refuge, be my friend
Lord, hold me till the very end

And when my faith falls to the ground
Keep my eyes looking, Heaven bound
When I am hurting, ease the pain
Lord, let me know you always rein

When my life is full of sighs
Please Lord, look into these eyes
Hold me close, please don't let go
For it's you Lord, I long to know
