Searching… seeking…looking for love,
Never knowing it is always with you.
Not the love of push-and-shove,
But the love that’s deep and true.
We look all over and everywhere.
We throw caution to the wind, and then
We still keep hoping that someone will care:
That this time real love will win.
Why don’t we learn to see God’s love?
His love is freely given to all who’ll accept.
It’s *AGAPE love sent from above.
His Son, our Christ, paid the debt.
He went to the cross for one and all.
And this love will never cease to flow.
Jesus answered His heavenly Father’s call.
He bought you on a tree, you know.
Jesus died that we might have life
We don’t have to search everywhere--anywhere!
He took away the pain and strife.
There already IS Someone who cares.
God loves you. He traded His only Son!
This love is for one and all.
The price was paid; the searching is done.
For all who will answer His call.
