Author's Bio: I live in Hamler, Ohio and have been married for almost 35 years. I accepted Christ late in life, and each day He blesses me with, I shall thank Him for His gift to me. God did a radical change in me: I, like the woman who washed Christ's feet, had many sins, which are now covered by His blood. To God be the glory....I have 2 children, a boy and a girl, both of whom are school teachers. I have 5 beautiful grandchildren, 3 girls and 2 boys. I am so blessed that I am able to watch them while my children teach.
This battle rages within me. You, my Lord, are my strength and power. May I keep my eyes on you, Jesus. Oh that I may rest in His peace,
The flesh pulls with such a force!
Lord, I pray You to help me get through.
On my own, I will never make it.
On my own I fall so short.
I now take hold of the Cross and hold tightly.
For it is here where the victory lies.
For when I take them off, I do fail.
The flesh has a mighty pull on me
Yet, my love for You is stronger still.
Feel His presence surrounding me.
May He wrap me in His loving arms.
And grant unto me His rest.
