Matthew 26:41 – "There came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment….very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on His head."
She could have been a singer, an artist, or a nurse,
She could have sought her fortune and put dollars in her purse.
But instead she chose her Saviour. The things of earth grew dim.
She took her precious talent. She poured her all on Him.
To all her friends and neighbours it seemed a sad, sad waste,
But deep within her heart she knew that naught could take His place.
Her life wasted on the Saviour? This is what people said.
Early in the morning as she knelt beside her bed,
She poured out her soul to Jesus, in willing sacrifice,
Like Mary in the Bible, she gave Him her precious spice.
No fancy car or mansion, no life of simple ease.
She poured her all on Jesus. It was Christ she chose to please.
