Promises From Heaven for 2007
Helen Dowd

I opened up the "Daily Light" devotional and found, on December 31st morning reading, the perfect promises from Heaven for two-thousand and seven. I want to share them--and more--with you.

...Thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. Deuteronomy 1:31

Ye have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. Exodus 19:4

I will mention the loving kindness of the Lord--In his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. Isaiah 63:7 & 9

--As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: so the LORD alone did lead him. Deuteronomy 32:11,12

And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:4

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death. Psalm 48:14

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22

Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.--For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Matthew 6:25,32

Hitherto hath the LORD helped us. 1Samuel 7:12

And now, let me add a couple more of my favourite verses to give us encouragement for the New Year ahead...............

"He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Psalm 40:29-31

Let us stand on these promises from Heaven in 2007

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Psalm 41:10
